Coon Industries, Inc. was originally founded in 1850 by the Coon family as B.G. Coon Construction.  In the 1930’s, the Coon family added concrete as a part of the business.  Coon Certified Concrete and B.G. Coon Construction were sold by the family in 1980 and the combined company was eventually renamed Coon Industries.  In 1995, Coon Industries closed down the bridge construction division to concentrate on concrete sales.  Since then, we have maintained a reputation of offering the best quality concrete and concrete-related products.

• Offers many different mixes of concrete from thee ready-mix plants in Pittston, Naticoke, and Scranton, all dispatched from a central location using the Systech central software.
• Runs a fleet of almost thirty ready-mix trucks, with a lower average truck age than anyone else in the area, for better reliability and service to the customer.
• Was the nations first distributor of the IMF Wall System line of insulated concrete forms (ICFs).
• Can provide specially-designed mixes for any project's special needs, including the use of admixtures from Master Builders.
• Introduces, new in 2008, Spectrum, an integrally-colored concrete available in a variety of colors and mixed at our plant for best consistency.
